How to setup Spike as a data source

• Requirements:
  • The Spike app (Download Spike)
  • iPhone phone
  • Glance app installed (click to instal Glance)

Steps

1. In the Spike app enable your internal web server by navigating to

   • Settings => integration => internal HTTP server => ON
   • Click back to confirm the changes

2. Download Glance from the Fitbit app store (on your phone click to install Glance)

3. After installing Glance, Navigate to Glance's settings
   • Fitbit app => click the watch in the upper corner => clock faces => tap the watch => tap settings button at the bottom

• In Glance's settings select Spike as your data source.

4. If you did everything right you you should see your blood sugars on the watch.

Troubleshooting

• Does Spike have access to run in the background?
  • You can turn on Background App Refresh in Settings => General => Background App Refresh
  • Double check that the fitbit app is also toggled on in the list below
