Cerebrus in Rust - Rydersel/StudyOnAnticheats GitHub Wiki

Cerebrus is a new anti-cheat system being deployed in Rust, it is unknown if this a module of EAC or an independent system. Cerebrus works by logging your in-game stats and comparing them with the average of players with the same amount of hours as you. This means that if an account with 13 hours is only hitting headshots the account will be banned. Though not as advanced as other anti-cheat systems used in rust, it uses commonsense to punish the purchasing of 0-hour accounts to cheat on. Values that are known to be tracked by Cerebrus are account hours, account steam level, users kills, users deaths, users weapon accuracy, users headshot percent, users steam account age. Cerebrus is still a very new system and it is certain it will be tweaked and modified in the near future. I will update this page as more info becomes public.
