There are 3 races in the game: Humans, Dwarves and Elves. Each race has certain attributes which make them good at certain things.

Dwarves

Industrious and practically-minded. Due to their inscrutable nature, many outsiders are surprised to learn that they are highly intelligent, and skilled in mathematics and astronomy. Dwarves engage in trade, however in all other matters they are typically isolationists, and therefore are generally not susceptible to outside culture. However this can also be a weakness in times of struggle.

Humans

Known for being adaptable to a wide variety of environments. Their individualistic natures can make them pioneers in technology, but can also lead to chaotic behaviour.

Elves

Highly traditional and ritualistic. Elves are not interested in much beyond living in harmony with nature. However it would be a mistake to underestimate their power, as no other race matches their magical abilities.
