Ruth2 v4 Post-Release Fixes Suggestions

  • Small trim to butt where poke through occurs when wearing system skirt [Ai Austin]
  • Suggestion for the Alpha Cut on the V4, The Pelvis Alpha cut goes about a quarter of the way down and cuts part of the leg off. In previous version pelvis was just the upper waist part and did not cut part of the legs out when enabled. The way it is now makes hiding body parts difficult for outfits. [Cybercat Bekkers]

Ruth2 v4 Pre-release Work

  • Upgrade assets to Blender 2.8x. [Completed: Ada Radius July 2020]
  • Convert to BoM compatible (material assignments in Blender to create "Faces" inworld). [Completed: Ada Radius July 2020]
  • Trim the mesh just a little in the underarm areas (front and back) and a bit in the bottom. These are areas that poke through when wearing Maitreya shaped clothing...which would give us a clothing eco system right away. @Duck Girl has created a “slim” Ruth2 mesh based on RC#3 which tries to include these mesh adjustments.   • Fix weights at the hips so cross-legged sit works better. [Completed: Ada Radius July 2020]
  • Change UV mapping at the toes to be more like the current Roth release? [Completed: Ada Radius July 2020]
  • Check that flat feet underneath section have correct placement, and are same as already correct medium and high feet. Use Reference/tree/master/Textures/UV/UVFootTesting.png for testing. [Completed: Ada Radius July 2020]
  • Make a Business suitable version (this is a request by several in OpenSim communities) - flatten nipples and groin. [Completed: Ada Radius July 2020]

  • The current Ruth2 v3 flat, medium and high feet may be included in Ruth2 v4 (under discussion). The current feet are not orientated "x-forward". Reorientate the three fixed feet feet. [Completed: Ada Radius July 2020]
