Town Upgrades

Every town can be upgraded, assuming the feature is enabled in the core.yml config (core.towns.enable_upgrades). All upgrades and their levels are fixed within the Konquest plugin, that is, you cannot create your own upgrades. You can, however, configure each upgrade's cost and population requirement in upgrades.yml. Setting an upgrade's cost to "-1" disables that upgrade level. All costs and populations in the tables below are default config values.

When the core.yml option core.towns.upgrade_while_attacked is true, upgrades cannot be purchased while a town is under attack. When a town is captured by an enemy kingdom, its upgrades can remain if option core.towns.capture_upgrades is true.

Monument Loot

Animal Drops

Enemy Fatigue

Counter-Intelligence

1 400 6 Prevent spy maps from locating this town
2 400 8 Prevent spy maps from locating, and compasses from pointing to this town

Health Buff

Level Cost Population Description
1 200 4 Adds 1 heart to friendly health bars
2 400 6 Adds 2 hearts to friendly health bars
3 600 8 Adds 3 hearts to friendly health bars

Prevent Damage

Level Cost Population Description
1 250 6 Prevents all fire spread
2 250 8 Prevents all fire spread and explosions

Town Watch

The town watch protection has an optional warmup time from when the last resident quits the server, given by option core.kingdoms.no_enemy_edit_offline_warmup.

1 300 3 Prevents enemy raids unless at least 1 resident is online
2 600 6 Prevents enemy raids unless at least 2 residents are online
3 900 9 Prevents enemy raids unless at least 3 residents are online

Better Enchantments
