Iterations

Founded multiple times in an uncertain history, more research is needed about the previous iterations of Winnipeg prior to the third founding in April 2020.

"Winnipeg" - The first Winnipeg, unknown as to the creation date.

"New_Winnipeg" - The second Winnipeg, unknown as to the creation date, but fell shortly prior to the third iteration.

"Winnipeg" - Third iteration, still standing.

Cleanup

Winnipeg had been already built twice before, so it was unsurprising if the land had already been used up. There used to be a wall encompassing the entire town however no bridges, so Demadunk took it upon themselves to destroy every building that had been made, but choosing to place the town hall in the same location as the previous one to respect the previous iterations, rebuilt by AkeYamni he set the entire building theme for the town through the town hall.

Third Iteration

Winnipeg's third iteration (from here on out will be referred to as just Winnipeg) was founded April 4th 2020 by Demadunk and Akeyamni. Claimed as ruins of the previous town the first artifact to officially come of this was the Winnipeg 1.0 book, showing the town's high and unrealistic expectations of being able to deliver.

Delayed & Abandoned Builds, Projects

Winnipeg has had numerous builds and projects associated with them, some have succeeded but others have failed.

Winnipeg Library

The Library building was a multifloored theme build where each floor had different materials, from top to bottom would be the build theme and planned library that would also double as a non-profit attempt to share written books that Demadunk had found. Top to bottom the floors were end, prismarine, nether, quartz, then dark oak. Beneath that was the basement, where the start of the vote head collection had begun, with a floor of enchanting tables and walls of obsidian.

The building had been torn down in the Winnipeg reconstruction efforts, and by extension this project has been put on a permanent hold until further notice.

Winnipeg Greenhouse

The Greenhouse was another early era building built by Demadunk, it had a decorative surface building with the basement being both a sugar cane and pumpkin autofarm. It had no use beyond being a filler building, so it was torn down in the Winnipeg reconstruction efforts. The pumpkin autofarm is out of commission however the sugar cane autofarm is still as of March 2021 is still in production.

The Melon & Pumpkin Towers

The dual towers were two large autofarms that would produce so much melon and pumpkins there would be no practical use to the overflow of the crops they brought, so Dieco and PiratedData tore them down for Demadunk in exchange for redstone components to build their own farms with.

Taco Bell

The taco bell was built early on as a joke, the taco bell was in fact taken from Illinois in the United States, it had no use but was built where the Winnipeg museum is today, was also torn down in the Winnipeg reconstruction efforts.

Current Builds

Town Hall

The centerpiece of the town, the town hall was the first building built on Winnipeg, built by AkeYamni, and contains the villager trading hall within the basement built by Demadunk, as of now it is a barren build lacking much internal decoration and will be touched up upon once construction efforts have finished for the most part.

Town Spawn

The second thing built into Winnipeg that still stands, the spawn is a Gazebo built by AkeYamni that originally had a short chime that'd play when spawning in, however for now it is out of commission and will come back later more complex.

Town Storage

A complicated story, as when it was first found out to be a rather large spruce box dug underground, AkeYamni turned it into a small cactus autofarm in addition to starting the town storage, and even after that the super smelter array used to this day. Demadunk built upon this and added the armory, potion storage, and carved out the minecart path from the town hall to the storage, which was then built upon by AkeYamni and more recently by Just_Perq. As of 2021 it is a surface build featuring further developments, and as of March is under construction.

Museum

The museum built by Demadunk has the goal to showcase many of the original books they had come across through their time played on the server. It also plans to host maparts, artifacts, and keepsakes.
