Shamrock - Ruinscraft/mcatlas-history GitHub Wiki

Basic History The largest and most populated town in Ireland in its history. The town peaked at the 6th most populated town on the server in March of 2020. It was also the 8th largest town by land claim at that time as well.

The town was founded by Nero back in November after he was funded 250 gold by Ramenboy of the North Sea, and was known as Galway as that's where the town started. Nero soon paid off his 250 gold and left the now Scottish/British Empire as the North Sea was now called.

The town quickly became the largest town in Ireland as most of the other towns didn't have a large nation claim bonus. The town stayed at 8 population for quite some time, before Nero started to build plots and recruiting players, and the town quickly grew in populus.

In the autumn of 2020, Nero became less active and the town began to lose residents, falling to its present day number of 2. Shamrock continues to exist as of March 2021 but sees little player activity with infrequent logins by Nero to preserve the town.

Land Claiming Galway quickly claimed all of what in real life Ireland is county Galway, Clare, Roscommon, and half of both Westmeath and Offaly along with the North of both Limerick and Tipperary. Once the town Belmullet fell, Galway claimed Mayo, Sligo, and Donegal.

Galway stayed this way for a long time until Dublin fell, which was around the start of Galway's Growth spurt, which was when the town became Tara (although it had been Hibernia and Shannon as well) Soon after the town of Derry fell during the peak of the town. So they claimed that as well. on the 17th for St.Patricks day the town became Shamrock (this stuck) Shamrock now owned the majority of the island of Ireland which included All of Connaught, Most of Leinster, North Munster and West Ulster.

Attractions/Builds Shamrock has many attractions, such as in the Galway district there is the Alco Tower, which is currently the tallest skyscraper in Ireland, and the Kurtle Tower which stands to the west of it, along with Shannon airport which hosts the Irish Armys only fighter jet.

In the Dublin District, lays the Boru's of Killaloe Pub/Bar, and a wrong facing Newgrange, so now at least you can enjoy sunsets instead of sunrises... Under construction is Wicklow Castle.

In the Derry District, there is a Water Wheel House, along with a Windmill house.

Transport Under Ireland from the Galway District to the Dublin District, there is an ice tunnel that connects the Irish Sea to the Atlantic under the middle of Ireland. The Ice Tunnel hub also connects to Derry, the Town of Ulaid. The Ice tunnel also turns into an Ice Bridge which crosses around 1/4 of the Atlantic and is accessible via the Atlantic as well.

There is also a Luas (tram) which goes from Galway to Dublin, and soon Derry. Along with Subways that serve the same districts along with the town of Ulaid, They also both connect onto the Shamrock's Atlantic Bridge in Galway.

There is, of course, roads to all the districts which range from five blocks wide to seven blocks wide
