How to Make a Page - Ruinscraft/mcatlas-history GitHub Wiki

  1. Make sure you have a GitHub account! If you're just now making a GitHub account, you'll have to wait for a bit after creating an account to edit the wiki. If you edit the wiki immediately, GitHub will flag your account as a bot, and you'll have to email support, make a new account, or wait a couple of days. Be warned!

  2. Click "New Page" in the top right:

  1. Title your page, and start writing! You can look at other page for examples of what you can do, like embed images or create lists.

  2. Once you're done, click "Save Page" on the bottom right.

  3. To make your page appear in the sidebar, edit the sidebar by clicking the pencil icon on the top right.

  1. Place your page in the appropriate category, or create a new category if needed. The links are formatted as such: [Name](Link) or [What appears to the user](The actual name of the page). If you used spaces in your page title, you'll need to replace them with dashes (-) in the link to the page; for example, [German Empire](German-Empire).

  2. You're done!
