History

The Caliphate, later the Ottoman Empire, was a nation founded with the merging of Syria and Sumer.

For the first half of it's life it was led by the veteran players Boo_mac and Tkalash.

During march and early april, the nation grew in strength, eventually passing Eurasia

Though during it's peak it would later fall on April 12th, 2020 due to the events of The Great Betrayal

The destruction of the Caliphate would then lead to a great instability in the government, many of the nation's leaders quit the server, and citizens began to vie for leadership of the Nation.

To regain order, elections were quickly held, filling in any empty positions

The Caliphate was disbanded late July 2020, and Meereen now occupies the former capital.

Mecca and the Caliphate under Eightvolt returned on March 16, 2021

The new Caliphate is the second largest nation on MCAtlas with over 200 members. The high ranking members of the Caliphate have been converting many players to Islam and The Faith of The Harpy, Crowblers a CoKing in the Caliphate has even began building the largest Mosque on the server with over ten thousand gold ingots for the domes on it, making it one of the largest and most expensive buildings ever. The other CoKing, Autarch Auchimonde of Meereen and his team expanded the city of Meereen and constructed large Pyramids, iconic of Meereenese Theme, as well as spreading The Faith of The Harpy and Islamic religion across the world. The capital, Mecca, was restored to a holy site to many in the Caliphate, there are usually large gatherings there every few days.

However, this new Caliphate did not last, and the Caliphate again fell in late March 2021, with Islam proving difficult to appeal to the African and European towns. Crowblers formed a new town in Indonesia with Cationic, and The Faith of The Harpy once again became the dominant religion of Meereen, who claimed Crowblers's Mega Mosque, and is working to expand it along with the server megastructure The Great Pyramid of Meereen, which the mosque is located directly south of.
