AkselHolmsted, more commonly refered to as Aksel or sometimes Askel, is the mayor of Copenhagen and remains one of the oldest continuously active players on the server, having joined on July 6th, 2019 and never having exceeded the 45-day inactivity limit.

Altough irrelevant today, he used to be much a much more important figure in the early months of the server, such as playing a key part in the creation of Europa, running it for a time, being diplomatically important in the original Scandinavia and owning the second. On top of that, Aksel led projects such as the Europath and the Copenhagen-Vienna ice highway. Being the mayor of Copenhagen, Aksel was one of the three founding players of the second and third Europas.

After falling from relevancy, Aksel released many books through Ink throughout 2020 and 2021.

Under the Second Scandinavia, Aksel was part of the Scandinavian royal family; Av/Af Vendsyssel. Considering Aksel is the first name of AkselHolmsted, that would make the full title Aksel Holmsted Af Vendsyssel.
