Stone Age

Humanity begins with bare hands and sharp rocks. In this age, players rely on stone, wood, bone, and flint to survive. Every tool is handmade from what nature provides. There is no metallurgy, no real infrastructure. The primary goal of this age is to locate and process copper to begin the transition toward metal use.

Copper Age

With the discovery of copper and the first crude metal tools, society begins to shift. Players can now craft simple implements and gain access to basic metallurgy. The Copper Age is one of humble invention and newfound coordination.

The goal of this age is to create basic equipment with andesite alloys to advance to alloying bronze.

Andesite alloys can be created by mixing andesite and tin.

Bronze Age

Bronze overtakes copper as the dominant material for tools and weapons, allowing for more ambitious creations. Settlement building with MineColonies becomes available.

The goal of this age is to establish a settlement through MineColonies, and ultimately to begin processing raw iron into usable iron ingots.

Iron Age

Iron revolutionises production, combat, and mining. Bronze is relegated to lesser roles as iron tools become the new standard. Town Hall level 2 becomes available, Magical development with Ars Noveau is opened up.

The goal of this era is to keep moving forward into the development of machinery and experimenting with more magic, to eventually reach the Nether. A blaze must be captured from the Nether to ever be able to continue developing metallurgy.
