Clean the Dictionary (Metadata)

A clean dictionary is one that meets close to the same requirements as in the DCT2SQL ISAM->SQL to-do list. Do as if you were going to make a dictionary SQL ready.

  • Naming conventions
  • Check dictionary for errors
  • Correct and cleanup dictionaries
  • Adjust for reserved words

Check the link above for the requirements of a clean dictionary. Even if you are not doing a conversion, the dictionary should be good enough to generate all the structures and all the descriptions. The closer your dictionary is to the requirements, the fewer changes you will have to make in your classes and your descriptions.

“It would be an act of wisdom to depart immediately… but wisdom is itself the product of knowledge; and knowledge, unfortunately, is generally the product of foolish doings. So, to add to my own knowledge and to enhance my wisdom I shall remain another day, to see what occurs.”
― Roger Zelazny, quote from Creatures of Light and Darkness

  • POINT OF NO RETURN

Time, space, energy, and matter are all relative, so you can cross those off your list of possibly true things. Emotions are also relative. I understand that your feelings are valid because you feel them, but that doesn't make them true, just another form of appearance. The same goes for all your beliefs, opinions and memories. What does that leave? Not much, but not nothing.

  • TRUTH VS REALITY

One thing you can know for sure is that the universe is a false construct. The universe is dualistic, duality is untrue, and untruth does not exist; that’s what nonduality means and reality is the universe it destroys. And yet, there it is, right? I mean, is it just me, or does everyone see it?

  • TEACHINGS VS THINKING

A teaching is like a thousand-piece puzzle. It’s fun and rewarding and pleasantly time-killing, but nonduality doesn’t need a thousand pieces, it just needs one. The real work is getting rid of the nine hundred ninety-nine wrong pieces until only the right one is left.
