#The Morning Mat

For my final project I made an alarm clock rug. The general idea is that the Arduino controls a LCD display attached with a real time clock module that has been adjusted for user interface to allow alarm times to be set. Two force sensors are placed in designated outlined areas on the mat that can differentiate between when someone is standing on the rug or not. The only way to turn off the alarm is to stand on these sensor therefore the person using it has to get up out of bed to use it.
