Computer Science is, the science and study of computers including coding and developing software for computers.

The advantages of writing programs is that you get more experience with programs and you also learn how to creat programs which can help you in careers later in life.

I am learning computer science because computer sciencce is the biggest part of game development/design, and that is the career I would like to persue in the future.

The diffrence bewteen programing and computer sicence is that, programming is the action and job of creating code and software, while computer science is more so the study and science of computers, thus computer science is much more broad than programming.
