You need to learn Linux commands so that you can understand how to do what things you want to do in coding and in the Konsole.

Practicing Linux commands is important because if you practice them you will know how to better use, and understand what commands need to be used to find/do what ever you are trying to find/do.

Prediction: I think that the philosophy behind Linux is that everything is created to simplify coding thus the implications for coding is that it makes coding easier to do and understand.
