Overview

Last week Me and two classmates setup this simple network, with 2 kali devices acting as the laptop and server. To solidify some basic network knowledge, I am going to recreate it in packet tracer.

Foster laptop

The default gateway is the physical connection between the foster switch and the IP of the router port it is connected to

CNCS router

Port connection from foster switch to router

Port connection from skiff switch to router

Skiff server

The default gateway is the physical connection between the skiff switch and the IP of the router port it is connected to

The server and laptop can ping

An HTTP packet sent from the laptop to the server.
