P2 Retrospective - Revature-Salesforce-Training/Alchemy GitHub Wiki

Individual Thoughts:

Michael Scott:

Overall, project 2 was successful. We were able to meet all the requirements and achieve some stretch goals as well. While the short time condition was a challenge, as a team we were able to keep the communication lines open all the way from the planning phase to the end of presentation.

Patrick Sepnio:

I think that this project went better than the last project. A lot of after work hours were spent working on this project. Everyone worked hard on this project in particular, arguably more than the last project. Time management was better this time around, we got to practice before the day of the presentation.

Matthew Jeffery:

As a whole, the project turned out well; time management was difficult with the rest of the curriculum requirements. However, the challenge of working in different frameworks allowed for many learning opportunities. In general, the end product was indicative of the large amount of hours put in. The presentation showed much more of the product than our project 1. Team work was also a great opportunity to practice SDLC processes.

Mushfiqus Chaudhury:

In my opinion, our project was very well done and our presentation was stellar. Even though there was not a lot of time we were still able to come up with a functional webapp with the required features. On my part, I completed all of my required features such as Aura, LWC, Apex and Trigger. My code coverage was 100%. Our focus was on the backend more, however this time our client-side webpage was a lot more polished. Our presentation and slide designs had been improved. I, along with the members of my team, put in extra hours to complete all the requirements. Our time management has improved a lot and we were able to practice our presentation a few times. Overall, we did a fantastic job.

Eli Couture:

Our group worked extremely hard on our project. Everyone gave 100% if not 110% every dedicated work time. We had extremely good communication throughout, and we started with our design first, so we could stay consistent. Our presentation was also much better than previous. I worked on the interaction between components, and it was a fun challenge working with Aura, Apex, SOQL, LWC, and the LMS all while Javascript was messing with everything.

Group Thoughts:

Group Goods:

One important notice, absolutely none of us used templates in our code or project at all. We had better time management than our last project, and practiced the presentation before the day of the actual presentation. We also all worked together on our code and tests. Nobody did anything alone, and when help was asked for, help was given. This is part of why 100% test coverage was also so easy for us.

Group Bads:

Work/life balance was affected negatively by the amount of hours put in. We also had to hardcode a few too many things unfortunately, but this is because of CSP rules and violations. (We also broke one of the CSP rules which is script loading of src tags on images. This is not a violation, but since there is no

tag to put tags in, we could not set our site to use lax CSP rules, so our final site does not look correct without turning CSP off.) So although our site looks great, it does not follow CSP best practices.
