I love it some times, and I hate it some times.\nI have a love-hate relationship with this one.\n\nHades, love it.\nBlazBlue, love it.\nTrinity Fusion, love it.\nOblivion Override, love it.\n\nThis one? I lovehate it.\nIt's an abusive relationship, where the roles swap back and forth.\nOnce I'm kinda done with this one, I think I can finally lay roguelites to rest for a bit, and go back to Soulslikes and RPGs again.\n\nBut, for now, still got some game here and some explosive barrels to get clipped by in the distillery!",

"review": "pretty fun,\n\nstarted playing after watching a vid discussing how difficult this game is.\n\nso far:\n1st run: died in the first \"room\" sort of learnt how the combat system goes\n2nd run: died to the final boss, and unlocked potion and lvl up\n died cause i rolled into a bad modifier at the time (the modifier with +1hp per attack hit and +100% dmg)\nthe boss fights were not the big issue for me up until the last boss, mostly struggling with group environments \n\n3rd run found the thingy (i forgot the name i think its an aura?) that gives you a second life,\nand beat some floors within the allotted time frame (3 floors)\nbut had to leave mid game so just left after spending my orb thingies at a stop\n*and got to the bank\n\nsofar:\ngood game combat doesnt feel clunky, love de amount of bosses in the game and the different gimmics for clearing the room your in, or the gimmics to get to the boss fight\n\nmy 1 negative would be how easy it is, when you abuse the dot effects such as poison, fire and freeze\n\nanyways still an incredible game 9.5/10\n\nfor beginners to the roguelike games a 5/10\n\nsince not every thing is intuitive/well explained so there were a lot of features i just know from having played different roguelikes in the past (the statues vines and whatever there is to come)\n\ntldr: less difficult then i expected on base difficulty, tho for someone new to the genre i can see how this is a rough first roguelike",

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I barely even want to touch anything else. The gameplay is super addictive and never gets old. Plus, as a non-gamer who works a full-time job, it's just the perfect way for me to unwind. 100 cells out of 10. I hope someday I'll dig up another game that gives me the same feeling. "review": "I played through this on Gamepass so disregard my Steam hours. To give you an idea, I'm someone who thinks that almost all roguelites, collectathons, 2d sidescrolling platformers, metroidvanias, and pixel graphics games are TERRIBLE . So, when this was recommended to me I prepared myself for what should have felt like the worst game created by mankind to date. Instead, imagine my shock to discover that this game is an absolute KNOCKOUT on every level you could measure. It bleeds passion and oozes fun in a way that only something created by an extremely talented team with a very clear vision could have made. It's so visually expressive and the gameplay is tight and responsive, with so many easter eggs and secrets that never stopped being enjoyable to find. An utter thrill to complete and absolute must-play.",

"review": "I've played this for about 300hrs on the Switch and maybe 50 more on the Xbox, got some time in on mobile as well and all I can say is that this is a Masterwork and my forever favourite.\n\nCombat is crisp, the animations are absolute fire, I love the art style.\nThere's many secrets to uncover and the references/homages to all the other metroidvanias and rogue likes out there are such a beautiful way to pay respects.\n\nalso, play with controller.",

Moved to here with the family library on here but decided to buy the game since it's just that good. The combat is the best 2D I've ever experienced, the vibes and artstyle are immaculate, and the lore, jokes and music are also top-notch. Absolute must play.",
