Progressions (5 achievements - 26 points)

Freezai's Mountain's progression is linear, however it does require some backtracking as part of the puzzle. Be prepared to go back to the foot of the mountain a handful of time.

Tip

It pays off to learn moves that will be used in a subsequent battle at the Move Learner. This will cuts off some of the backtracking and is very useful for the speedrun achievement.

Note

TMs are infinites, so do not worry about learning and overwriting them.

Warning

However... There is no move deleter, so once an HM is learned, it is impossible to remove it.
It shouldn't cause any softlock, but be mindful of this.

Caution

The game saves automatically after talking to Freezai at the end.
This is important if you are trying to do every achievements in one playthrough, including the speedrun achievement.
It might be possible to make a backup of your save if you have some way to flush the save RAM while having the game opened (Bizhawk does for instance). Just reaload the backup save file after getting the speedrun achievement.
Otherwise, you will need to reset the game AS SOON as the achievements triggers after talking to Freezai.
The game will whine about corrupted savefile. Don't worry, it will then tell you that the last save file will be loaded instead, which is what you want.

Flawless Choreography

Defeat Bird Keeper Celeste.

This will requires Cresselia, Riolu and Snorunt.
You start with Cresselia, however its moveset is all kind of wrong. We will change that after getting Riolu and Snorunt.
To get Riolu, talk to the old man to the right of the starting signpost. It is as simple as that.
To get Snorunt, a little more involvement is required.

Enter the entrance at the top right of the starting room. This will lead to a room with two entrances. Start with the left entrance, which will lead to an ice floor puzzle.
It's an easy one, just go left, down, right, up, right, up, left, down, right, then down.
You will exit out the room on the other side of the ledge where there's an item. Grab that; You will need that Great Ball.
Next, jump the ledge and enter the room to the right. It is a sokoban puzzle. Riolu already has Strength, so no worry on that front. You will need to solve the puzzle to get Rock Smash, which will be necessary later on.
The puzzle's solution can be found here.

Once Rock Smash is claimed, return to the starting area. It is time to get that Snorunt.
Enter the top left entrance, then go into the tall grass slightly north. Once a wild Snorunt shows itself, press 'R' to catch it.
Don't bother trying to wear it down, the Great Ball will instantly catch it.

With the dream team assembled, go back to the starting area and talk to the move learner, which is a bit down from the area you just come from, under the girl in the red dress. They won't even look at you as you talk to them. Rude.
Learn these moves for Cresselia: Lunar Dance, Gravity, Moonlight, and Moonblast. Only the first move is necessary for this achievement, the three others are for the next battle.

Go battle Bird Keeper Celeste now. All you have to do is use Lunar Dance, then switch to Riolu. Use Copycat, then use Icy Wind with Snorunt.

On the second floor, interact with the blue flower. Use the Dawn Stone on Snorunt to get Frosslas.
Switch Cresselia with Froslass, then return to the move learner and learn both Destiny Bond and Avalanche on Froslass.

Return on the second floor to battle Chozen.
Use Destiny Bond, then Avalanche.
Switch to Cresselia, then use Gravity. Use Moonlight two times, then Moonblast.

Defeat the Interviewer Noel & Alf.

Go on the third floor and speak with both character that are not the interviewers to get Kecleon instead of Riolu, and heal your party.
Switch your party around so that both Cresselia and Kecleon are leading.
Go back to the move learner on the first floor to learn Skill Swap and Psychic on Cresselia.

Challenge the interviewers on the third floor.
Use Skill Swap on Kecleon, and Fake Out on Sandslash.
Use Skill Swap on Snorlax, and Sucker Punch on Sandslash.
Use Skill Swap on Sandslash, and Sucker Punch on Snorlax.
Send in Froslass, use Destiny Bond, and Psychic on Sandslash.

Misc note This will fail Lethal Exorcism, but is the non-RNG reliant strategy. Use this for casual play or the speedrun achievement.

Beating Rime, Feeling Fine

Achievement badge icon
Defeat Cooltrainer Rime.

This one requires some setup.
First, talk to the lone NPC on the fourth floor to get Slowking, which will replace Froslass, then to the NPC next to the move learner to heal your party.
Use the Rock Smash HM on Slowking, and get the Colbur Berry at the top right of the floor.
Switch the Thief TM from Slowking for the Colbur Berry.
Use the Thief TM on Keckleon, replacing Sucker Punch/Detect. (Depending on your current moveset.)
Place Kecleon at the lead, and go in the tall grass on the same floor to encounter a Crabominable.

Use Shadow Sneak, then Thief. This will get you the Muscle Band, and Using These Muscles achievement. Keep it on Kecleon.
Switch to Slowking, then use Psychic. (If Slowking dies, send in Cresselia and use either Moonblast or Psychic/Psyshock, depending on your moveset)
If Kecleon is not level 30 already, go heal the party and repeat the above until it is. Don't learn Detect once it gets level 30.
Once Kecleon is level 30, place Slowking on the lead, heal your party if needed, and level it up to level 30 using Psychic, repeating the process a total of three times.

Now that Slowking knows Surf, go back to the first floor, and surf in the room where the Snorunt can be found.
Enter the cave in the top left, then pick up the Fire Blast TM.
Use the Fire Blast TM on Slowking, replacing Psychic.

Return to the fourth floor, then use the move learner there to replace Thief with Sucker Punch.
Challenge Rime with Slowking in the lead.

Use Fire Blast, then use Counter twice.
Send in Kecleon, use Fake Out.
Switch in Cresselia, then send in Kecleon. (There is a method to this madness, I swear.)
Use Fake Out, then Sucker Punch.

Escape from Mt. Glacia.

More setup! Though this time it's all done on the same floor.
Talk to the NPC past Rime. He'll switch your Kecleon and Slowking for a Togekiss, Hariyama and Ledian. (Also some useless ability items.)
Talk to the move learner to learn Wish and Air Slash on Togekiss, and Detect on Hariyama.
Remove the Flame Orb from Hariyama, and give it to Togekiss.
Search the tall grass for some Crabominable with Togekiss on the lead.

Use Wish, then Heal Bell. Flee the fight.
Do the same with Hariyama on the lead, giving back the Flame Orb from Togekiss, using Detect instead.
The burned status ailment is mandatory as Darkrai will put your Pokémons to sleep otherwise.

Equip Hariyama with the Muscle Band, then put both it and Togekiss on the Lead.
Go to the fifth and final floor, AND SAVE. You will be glad you did for some of the missable achievements.
On to the battle.

Use Wish and Headlong Rush on Arcanine.
Use Air Slash on Medicham and Detect.
Use Extreme Speed on Medicham and Close Combat on Darkrai.
Use Air Slash and Close Combat on Melmetal.

Talk to Freezai after the battle.

Misc note The NPC that switches out your Pokémons might not give back the Colbur Berry. I didn't notice before making this guide, but if you want to make sure that you get it back to equip Cresselia with, you can remove it from Slowking before switching Pokémons. I never had this issue, but apparently it can be possible that Togekiss faints on turn 2. You'll need a burned Ledian if that happen, which you will need to learn Roost at the move learner then battle the Crabominable. If you are short on time for the speedrun achievement, I suggest skipping Ledian altogether to risk the biscuit instead of just forfeiting the run due to lack of time. Like I said, I never saw it happen on my five attempts. A burned Cresselia is completely useless, but if you really want to, you can burn it using Moonlight on the Crabominable battle..

Fail Conditions

- It's possible to skip this puzzle and get Rock Smash through Gracia.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator While in the sokoban puzzle room.

Lethal Exorcism

Achievement badge icon
Defeat the Interviewers Noel & Alf without letting Snorlax drain its own health.

Instead of learning Skill Swap, learn Psyshock and Guard Swap on Cresselia, and lead with Frosslass instead of Cresselia.
Use Destiny Bond and Fake Out on Sandslash, then use Avalanche and sucker punch on Sandslash.
You will need to lose the fight from this point on, and repeat until Kecleon level up and learn Detect. Replace Sucker Punch for it.

Once Kecleon learned Detect, redo the battle.
Use Destiny Bond, then Fake out on Sandslash.
Use Avalanche and switch Kecleon for Cresselia.
Send in Kecleon, then use Fake Out and Guard Swap.
Use Shadow Sneak on Cresselia (it won't work against Snorlax) and Psyshock.
Use Detect and Psyshock.
Use Strength and Psyshock.
If Snorlax isn't defeated at this point, just use Psyshock until it is.

Fail Conditions

- Snorlax drains its own health, usually through curse.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator While in battle against the interviewers.

Misc note This should be the lesser RNG reliant method. I got it on my first try, but I heard that the opponent AI goes out of whack once you do things that are not what Freezai planned.

Using These Muscles

Achievement badge icon
Obtain a Muscle Band before trading Slowking and Kecleon.

This is done as part of the progression walkthrough.
If you are ignoring these and skipping directly to this achievement for some reason, once you get to the fourth floor get Slowking.
Take the TM for Thief from it, and make Kecleon learn it, making sure that it also has Shadow Sneak.
Go in the tall grass on the same floor while having Kecleon on the lead.

Use Shadow Sneak, then Thief.

Fail Conditions

- Once Kecleon and Slowking are traded away at the NPC after Rime.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator On the fourth floor before trading in your Kecleon and Slowking. [Need verification. I didn't notice the indicator if there was one.]

Warm-Keeping Movement

Achievement badge icon
Escape from Mt. Glacia within 60 minutes in a single session.

Do the whole thing, fast.

No reload allowed, so you need to limit your RNG and your backtracking.
Frankly, if you follow the guide (don't forget to pause your emulation while reading), you shouldn't have any issue unless you mess up.
There are a lot of wiggle room here. However, here's some tips:
- Do NOT touch that fast forward button. I know it's tempting, some textboxes are horrifyingly slow even by turboing through them with both 'A' and 'B', but DON'T do it. I lost my first attempt by 20 seconds by doing so.
- Following this, do turbo 'A' and 'B' at the same time for NPC dialogs. It will go faster this way.
- Also, change your settings so that text speed is set on "Fast", and remove battle animations.
- If you are going for a single playthrough, use the Lethal Exorcism battle guide instead of This Gives Us Views. I didn't see any RNG differences in my attempts, but this battle was reported as unreliable. Caution is advised.

Fail Conditions

- Once in-game time is over 60 minutes.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator While in-game time is under 60 minutes.
