🧠 General Advice (Before Starting a New Game)

The most important thing to keep in mind when aiming to 100% Need for Speed: Most Wanted in a single run is that the game's autosave system is unforgiving; once you finish a Blacklist race and pick your reward markers, your choices are permanent, meaning if you miss the Pink Slip you cannot go back without a prior backup, and losing access to a rival's car will lock you out of collecting it later. Similarly, getting busted repeatedly without impound markers can result in permanently losing cars, including unique ones, which can be devastating if it happens to a Blacklist vehicle you were relying on for progression. Certain milestones tied to pursuits also require careful planning; failing to complete them before defeating the rival means you'll need to farm fresh pursuits later, which can be a long grind at higher heat levels. Because of these systems, the two biggest risks of being forced into replaying major chunks of the game are bad Pink Slip luck due to autosave and car losses from busts, so always manage your impound markers carefully and think twice before taking risky pursuits in your best vehicle.

Important

The game runs poorly on low-end systems. If you are using an integrated GPU, set the rendering mode to Software in the PCSX2 graphics settings. Additionally, go to Emulation -> System Settings and change the EE Cycle option to Mild or Moderate; this can provide a significant performance boost on low-end systems.

🏆 Progression (5 achievements - 26 points)

The game's progression is built around a clear ladder system where you move from one rival to the next, with each step requiring you to complete a combination of races, milestones, and bounty goals before you can issue a challenge with the Boss. This structure makes the flow very linear; you always know what your next target is, but how quickly you reach them depends on how well you balance racing skill, pursuit management, and car upgrades. As you advance, the game steadily raises the stakes: rivals drive faster cars, police become more aggressive, and milestones demand greater precision.

Note

The progression system is tied to key story moments rather than a linear "defeat-boss-after-boss" structure. Each milestone represents a rising action within the story.

Title Guidance & Insights

Welcome to Rockport

Achievement badge icon
- Awarded when you complete the prologue.

You Wanna See the Ocean?

Achievement badge icon
- Awarded when you defeat the Blacklist Member #13 (Vic), the game opens up the next stage of progression. Specifically, you unlock access to Heat Level 3 police pursuits and the Camden Beach area of the map. These changes raise the challenge: the police bring in stronger units, and you gain more city space to race and explore.

Whole Lot of Green

Achievement badge icon
- Awarded when you defeat the Blacklist Member #9 (Earl), the game expands further: you unlock access to Heat Level 4 police pursuits and the Downtown Rockport area of the map. This not only raises the intensity of cop encounters—introducing heavier tactics like Rhino SUVs and helicopters—but also gives you a larger variety of events and routes as you push toward the higher end of the Blacklist ladder.

No Special Treatment

Achievement badge icon
- Awarded when you defeat the Blacklist Member #5 (Webster), the game unlocks Heat Level 5 for pursuits. At this stage, pursuits become far more dangerous—federal units and aggressive tactics (like heavy roadblocks and Rhino SUVs) start showing up—so planning milestones and car setups carefully becomes essential.

Most Wanted

Achievement badge icon
- Awarded when you finally defeat the last Blacklist member (Razor) and rise to the #1 spot, you officially become the Most Wanted driver in Rockport. At that point, the game doesn't end outright—the career file remains playable, and you're free to continue driving around the open world, replaying events, chasing milestones, and going after 100% completion. The major difference is that you'll now have access to all unlocked areas, the highest police heat levels, and every rival car you managed to win along the way, so the world is essentially fully open.

- This achievement counts as the win condition for beating the game.

🏆 Challenges (8 achievements - 49 points)

The achievements within this category represent unique skill tests and feats of high-level driving required for complete mastery of Rockport. Unlike the linear Blacklist climb, these targets focus on specific pursuit interactions—such as intentionally triggering and surviving high-level police tactics, performing unconventional escapes, and mastering advanced car control under extreme pressure—to push the boundaries of what is possible in the open world.

Warning

The following achievements are highly missable due to strict progression requirements and the game's unforgiving autosave system. If you're aiming to complete them, preparation and careful decision-making are critical. Missing the required car, using an exploit, or losing a key vehicle to impound may make these achievements impossible to unlock on that run.

  1. Slingshot Technique
The achievement requires you to use the Lotus Elise to reach a speed of over 300 MPH (483 KM/H) at any Photo Ticket Milestone. While the Elise itself is not missable. If you complete all Photo Ticket Milestones before performing the slingshot glitch. Without any remaining Photo Tickets, there's no way to trigger the unlock.
  2. Juvenile Delinquency
In this achievement, you can use the Bus Station trick to reach Heat Level 5 without the extra grind. However, as soon as you reach Heat Level 5, leave the Bus Station quickly—if you don't, the achievement indicator won't appear.
  3. No Cheese
This achievement requires you to complete the Final Pursuit legitimately, without using the infamous Bus Station exploit or any out-of-bounds tricks to escape the cops. If you use these shortcuts to end the pursuit early, the achievement will not unlock and you'll be locked out of it for that entire run.

Title Guidance & Insights

Slingshot Technique

Achievement badge icon
Use the Lotus Elise and hit a Photo Ticket Milestone at over 300 MPH (483 KM/H). The Elise itself is not missable; once you defeat Blacklist Member #12 (Jewels), it becomes purchasable from the Car Lot regardless of whether you win her Pink Slip. What actually makes this achievement missable is the Photo Ticket Milestones—if you complete every one of them before attempting the slingshot glitch with the Elise, you'll have no remaining chance to unlock it in that run. To prepare, keep at least one Photo Ticket unfinished until you're ready. Fully upgrade the Elise with Ultimate parts (Junkman optional), equip the final Body Kit, set all Performance Tuning sliders to -3, then trigger the glitch: hold Gas + Brake, spam left and right steering, and release Gas while holding the others. Done correctly, the Elise will launch past 300 MPH, easily clearing the requirement.

Juvenile Delinquency

Achievement badge icon
Survive for 13 minutes at Heat Level 5 in a starter car with no performance upgrades, and you must escape the pursuit afterward for the time to count. Like other pursuit-based challenges, exploits such as the Bus Station trick or going out of bounds will invalidate the run. Because you're stuck in an unmodified starter vehicle—most players use the Volkswagen Golf GTI or the Chevy Cobalt SS—this cheevo is extremely risky and often comes down to patience and consistency.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed once you enter a pursuit in a stock car at Heat Level 5.
- A Measured Indicator tracks the time as %.

One Last Ride

Achievement badge icon
Complete a Tollbooth event from one of the final four Blacklist members in a starter car with no performance upgrades. The recommended event is JV's North Bay & Beacon Tollbooth, where many players report success. The Volkswagen Golf GTI is generally the better starter choice thanks to more stable handling. To maximize efficiency, equip a visual spoiler to unlock Performance Tuning and set Aerodynamics to +5 (this does not invalidate the challenge). Key strategies:

- Use Speedbreaker before jumps (Press O button): This keeps the car weighted and minimizes airtime so you don't lose momentum.
- Use Speedbreaker on sharp corners: It lets you take tighter lines without scrubbing speed.
- Avoid shortcuts that slow you down: Stick to asphalt routes wherever possible, even if it means scraping walls.

With patience and repeated practice, it's possible to finish with a few seconds to spare, though traffic RNG may add variability.

Waiting for the Bus

Achievement badge icon
Survive for 2 minutes in a pursuit without touching the controller. Unlike other survival challenges, this isn't particularly difficult once you know the setup, but it does require a bit of practice to execute cleanly.

The simplest method is to head to the Bus Station. Once in a pursuit, drive up the ramp inside the station and onto the parked buses. Make sure no cops are immediately on your tail when you go up, since they can follow you onto the buses and ruin the attempt. If they do make it up, you can nudge them off the edge before settling in. Once you're parked safely on top, let go of the controller and wait. The police AI usually struggles to reach you, leaving you free to “wait for the bus” until the two minutes have passed.

Mmm, Donuts...

Achievement badge icon
Destroy a police helicopter during a pursuit. The key is knowing when they spawn: helicopters only appear at Heat Levels 4 and 5, so don't waste time at lower levels waiting for one. Once active, lure it near a Pursuit Breaker such as a water tower, gas station, or stadium structure. Triggering the breaker as the helicopter hovers close can bring it down instantly. Because its pathing is unpredictable, this may take a few attempts, but the achievement pops immediately once the helicopter is destroyed.

Hunter Becomes the Hunted

Achievement badge icon
Destroy Cross during a Heat Level 5 pursuit. Cross doesn't appear in story races or scripted events for this; instead, he shows up randomly during the most intense police chases. He can either spawn as part of a roadblock or actively pursue you in his distinctive all-black Corvette. You'll know he's present because dispatch chatter will call him out, and his car stands out easily from the regular fleet.

The challenge here isn't spotting Cross—it's managing to take him down before the rest of the Heat 5 units overwhelm you. The most effective method is to bait him into a Pursuit Breaker. Water towers, stadium walls, or gas stations are especially good targets since they drop heavy debris that can instantly disable his car if he's nearby. You can also try to ram him directly, but in a stock or lightly upgraded car, that's a risky move since the Corvette is tougher than normal cruisers.

Because Cross spawns randomly, patience and persistence are required. You might see him early in a chase, or you might have to survive several minutes before he arrives. Keep control of the pursuit, listen for dispatch cues, and always have a breaker in mind when he spawns. Once destroyed, the achievement unlocks immediately.

Cops-Be-Gone

Achievement badge icon
Instantly escape the cops after finishing a race in Career Mode. Unlike other pursuit-based cheevos, this one relies on exploiting a quirk in the restart system rather than raw driving skill.

The setup is simple: pick a race event with maximum police probability (such as Clubhouse & Hollis early in the Blacklist ladder. Particularly Vic's event), win the race while the cops are active, and when the post-race menu appears, choose to restart the race instead of continuing. Doing so tricks the game into treating the pursuit as "escaped" the moment you restart, and the achievement unlocks instantly. Interestingly, community reports confirm that this even works in some cases where the cops didn't actually spawn during the race—so long as you selected an event with a high police chance.

Since autosave records progress immediately after a race, there's no real risk involved.

No Cheese

Achievement badge icon
Complete the Final Pursuit legitimately, without using the Bus Station exploit or going out of bounds. If you accidentally cheese the chase and the trigger icon disappears, you can still recover: allow yourself to get Busted, and instead of being sent to the usual fine/jail screen, the game will prompt you to restart. This gives you another chance to complete the pursuit properly without permanently losing the achievement. To earn it cleanly, focus on intended methods—use Pursuit Breakers, cooldown spots, and skillful driving until the chase concludes naturally.

- If you attempt the run with any of the mentioned exploits, the indicator will disappear.

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed once the Final Pursuit occurs.

🏆 Blacklist Mastery (15 achievements - 106 points)

Each achievement is tied to defeating a specific Blacklist member by meeting their requirements—completing a set number of races, milestones, and bounty targets. Unlike general progression achievements, these represent the core structure of Need for Speed: Most Wanted's career mode, gradually escalating in difficulty and intensity as you advance. Along the way, defeating rivals not only unlocks their cars through Pink Slips but also expands the available car roster, paint options, and new areas of the city, making the Blacklist the backbone of both the story and the achievement set.

🏆 Performance Upgrades (14 achievements - 128 points)

Each Performance Part's category can be improved across multiple stages (Street, Pro, Super Pro, Ultimate), with every level counting toward your total upgrade slots. For upgrade-restricted achievements, the combined number of installed parts across all categories must remain within the specified limit.

Warning

The only cars eligible for these achievements are the starter ones: Lexus IS 300, Volkswagen Golf GTI, Chevrolet Cobalt SS, and Fiat Punto. Using any other car to enter these challenges will prevent the achievement indicator from appearing, even if the car's performance upgrades are within the allowed limit.

Caution

Installing Junkman Parts is allowed. However, installing a single Junkman Part may max out or exceed the entire 7/7 requirements.

Note

There are 8 upgrade types (Engine, Transmission, Suspension, Turbo, Tires, Nitrous, Brakes, and Junkman Parts). Each type can be upgraded up to 4 levels (Stock -> Street -> Pro -> Super Pro -> Ultimate). For the purposes of these achievements, the total across all types must remain ≤ 7. Example: maxing Engine (4/4) and Transmission (3/4) already consumes all 7 allowed slots.

🏆 Blacklist Pink Slips (14 achievements - 140 points)

Pink Slips are one of the most valuable rewards in Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005). They grant you the rival's car, often fully upgraded and tuned far beyond what's normally available at that point in the game.

Warning

If you didn't manage to get the Pink Slip after selecting 2 markers and you're still on the marker screen, DO NOT press any button. Simply restart your emulator and you will have the chance to go for the Markers again. Restarting the emulator at this point will not cause the game to Autosave and your save will be put back to before you defeated that Blacklist member. You will need to defeat them again to have another shot at the Pink Slip. If you advance past the marker screen, Autosave will trigger and you will miss out on acquiring the Pink Slip

Tip

There's a trick you can try to keep receiving the Pink Slip reward marker in the same spot repeatedly. However, it comes with a cost: you must not save or reload a save game, and you must not restart the emulator. This is quite risky, because, as mentioned before, you need a backup save before entering the reward marker screen. Choosing the wrong slot can wipe your entire progress. Use this tip at your own risk.

🏆 Police Pursuits (Rap Sheet) (20 achievements - 195 points)

The Rap Sheet is where your pursuit statistics are tracked in Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and these achievements focus on pushing those numbers to their absolute limits. These challenges demand long pursuits, high levels of destruction, and creative survival strategies under extreme police pressure. Unlike standard Blacklist progression, Rap Sheet cheevos are about endurance and efficiency—testing how long you can last, how much chaos you can create, and whether you can keep control when Rockport's entire police force is on your tail.

Warning

All achievements in this category must be completed in Career Mode without exploits. The Bus Station trick, out-of-bounds glitches, and the scripted Final Pursuit do not count toward these totals. Single-pursuit challenges require you to both survive and successfully escape for progress to register. Lifetime achievements will accumulate over multiple runs, but long pursuits at Heat Levels 4–5 are the most efficient way to stack progress.

Escape after a 30-minute police pursuit in Career Mode. Best done at Heat Level 4–5 where backup cycles extend naturally. Use wide loops (stadium, highways) and cooldown spots to survive after hitting the 30 minutes cap. Keep an eye out on the timer on the upper-right corner.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed during a pursuit.

Rap Sheet: Police Vehicles Involved (Single)

Achievement badge icon
Rack up 150 total police vehicles in one pursuit. Trigger reinforcements by dragging out the chase at higher heat. Don't evade too early—keep visibility until you hit the count, then escape.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed during a pursuit once 50 police vehicles are involved.
- A Measured Indicator tracks how many police vehicles are involved up to 150.

Rap Sheet: Police Vehicles Damaged (Single)

Achievement badge icon
Damage 50 police cars in a single pursuit. Use Pursuit Breakers; avoid head-on hits to SUVs and patrol cars or you risk being immobilized. Stadiums and construction zones have plenty of Breaker spots. You can also ram police vehicles aggressively.
Achievement Hint Image

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed during a pursuit once 10 police vehicles are damaged.

Rap Sheet: Police Vehicles Immobilized (Single)

Achievement badge icon
Similar to "Damaged" but requires full immobilization. Use heavy Pursuit Breakers (water towers, gas stations) for guaranteed results. Direct rams also work but are less reliable.
Achievement Hint Image

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed during a pursuit once 10 police vehicles are immobilized.

Rap Sheet: Roadblocks Dodged (Single)

Achievement badge icon
Dodge 30 roadblocks in a single pursuit. Works best at Heat 5 where roadblock frequency is high; approach roadblocks at speed and thread through gaps; use Speedbreaker for control, or violently ram police vehicles blocking the road. Spike strips also count, but be careful; avoid driving over them.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed during a pursuit once 5 roadblocks or spike strips are dodged.
- A Measured Indicator tracks how many roadblocks are dodged up to 30.

Rap Sheet: Spike Strips Dodged (Single)

Achievement badge icon
Requires 30 spike strips dodged in one pursuit. Stay active at Heat 5, where strips spawn more often. Memorize common strip locations (bridges, tight chokes). If tires pop, the run is likely over and you have to try again.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed during a pursuit once 5 spike strips are dodged.
- A Measured Indicator tracks how many roadblocks or spike strips are dodged up to 30.

Rap Sheet: Cost to State (Single)

Achievement badge icon
Build $500,000 in property damage in one pursuit. Smashing Pursuit Breakers, traffic, and road furniture adds up quickly. Stadium and shipyard loops are ideal. Escape once the target is reached.

Note: When you destroy something, a small pop-up (like the one in the screenshot below) will appear, so keep an eye out for it.
Achievement Hint Image

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed during a pursuit once you accumulate $100,000 cts.

Rap Sheet: Infractions Recorded (Single)

Achievement badge icon
Record all 8 infraction types in one pursuit. Drive aggressively—hit cars, blow past roadblocks, evade helicopters. Requires patience and Heat 4–5. Escape at the end for the achievement to unlock.

Tips On How to Obtain Them
1. Speeding: Triggered when you're witnessed exceeding 150 MPH (241 km/h).
2. Excessive Speeding: Triggered when you're witnessed exceeding 180 MPH (290 km/h).
3. Reckless Driving: Triggered when you're witnessed exceeding 200 MPH (322 km/h).
4. Ramming a Police Vehicle: Triggers when hitting a cop car; this is usually the first infraction you get in a pursuit if you're not already starting it at a high speed.
5. Driving Off Roadway: Cut across grass, dirt, or a construction zone while cops are in view. Short bursts are enough.
6. Damage to Property: Smash through fences, lamp posts, phone booths, bus stops, or road signs. Downtown Rockport and Rosewood are full of destructible objects.
7. Hit and Run: Hit at least one civilian car (not a cop). Light taps work; you don't have to total it. Be aware that a few minutes into the chase traffic will stop spawning.
8. Resisting Arrest: Triggers when you enter cooldown mode; basically automatic on any pursuit.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed during a pursuit once you record 4 infractions.
- A Measured Indicator tracks how many infractions are obtained up to 8.

Rap Sheet: Helicopters Deployed (Single)

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed during a pursuit once a helicopter is deployed.

Rap Sheet: Bounty Accumulated (Single)

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed during a pursuit once you accumulate 500,000 bounty.

🏆 Challenge Series (9 achievements - 105 points)

The Challenge Series in Need for Speed: Most Wanted (Black Edition) offers a mix of time trials, pursuit scenarios, and unique events. Many of these achievements test your consistency under pressure—especially in pursuits where heat levels, cops, and strict conditions can quickly overwhelm you. They're designed as bonus objectives outside of Career Mode, but they'll push your driving and pursuit survival skills to the limit.

Warning

Some achievements forbid the use of exploits such as the Bus Station trick or going out of bounds. Attempting these methods will prevent the achievement from triggering. Pursuit-based challenges are especially prone to failure if you accidentally immobilize cops or let heat levels rise too high, so always plan your escape routes in advance.

Challenge Series Achievement List

Title Guidance & Insights

Lay Low 'Till the Heat's Off

Achievement badge icon
The recommended Challenge Series event to unlock this is Event #21, which is a Tollbooth event. You start with a powerful car already at Heat Level 3, making it easier to trigger and then escape a pursuit. Once the cops lose your tail, quickly find a cooldown spot to hide. This achievement may require several attempts to memorize which parts of the track offer the best hiding spots and where cops are triggered.

Fail Conditions

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed once you are detected.

The First Roadblock

Achievement badge icon
Complete Challenge Series #10 without reaching Heat Level 3. Roadblocks spawn starting at Heat 2. The fastest way to get them is by looping the University Campus in Rosewood (the pursuit begins facing its entrance). Roadblocks trigger frequently in this area—once you've smashed through two, escape quickly using nearby Pursuit Breakers to shake off any remaining cops.

Fail Conditions

- If you reach Heat Level 3, the indicator will disappear.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed once you enter the challenge.

Ten Minutes, in and Out, Easy

Achievement badge icon
Complete Challenge Series #40. This one is straightforward—just survive the pursuit and finish the event normally. As long as you don't exploit glitches, the achievement will pop naturally.

Fail Conditions

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed once you enter the challenge.

Well You Didn't Need to Evade That Fast

Achievement badge icon
Complete Challenge Series #52 with a pursuit time of under 30 seconds. Start by smashing the Pursuit Breaker near the highway, then immediately head into the nearby cooldown spot in the construction zone. Sometimes a stray cop survives and follows you inside—if that happens, restart. This one involves a bit of RNG luck to get a clean under-30 escape.

Fail Conditions

- If the pursuit exceeds the 30 seconds time limit, the indicator will disappear.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed once you enter the challenge.

Hey Now, Let's Just Keep It Clean

Achievement badge icon
Complete Challenge Series #56 without immobilizing any cops. This is one of the trickier ones since cops can crash into each other without your involvement, and it still counts as immobilized. To reduce risk, loop around the University Campus and avoid Roadblocks—either take alternate campus exits or do a quick 180 to double back. Some players try the Camden Beach Shipyards, but the distance makes it riskier.

Fail Conditions

- If you immobilize any police vehicle, the indicator will disappear.

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed once you enter the challenge.

Here's Your 15 Minutes of Fame

Achievement badge icon
Complete Challenge Series #60. No special conditions—just play out the pursuit normally and finish.

Fail Conditions

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed once you enter the challenge.

It's an Endurance, Man

Achievement badge icon
Complete Challenge Series #68. The toughest Challenge Series pursuit—Heat 6 units appear after 10 minutes, including Undercover Federal Pursuit Vehicles, Heavy SUVs, spike strips, and frequent roadblocks. Use reliable loops (Rosewood Highway, Rockport Stadium, University Campus) to survive. A strong car and patience are essential here.

Fail Conditions

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed once you enter the challenge.

Blacked Edition

Achievement badge icon
Survive the horde of big black Rhino Units in the special Black Edition Challenge Series Event #69. This event throws only Heavy SUVs at you. Smash through every Pursuit Breaker you can to quickly rack up Bounty, then escape as soon as possible. Aggressive breaker use is the fastest route to success.

Fail Conditions

Achievement Tracking

- A Trigger Indicator is displayed once you enter the challenge.

Challenge League

Achievement badge icon
Complete all 68 Challenge Series events. The capstone achievement for finishing the entire Challenge Series. Expect the later pursuits, especially #68, to be very demanding. Perseverance and familiarity with safe loops will pay off here.

🏆 Bonus (3 achievements - 16 points)

The Bonus category contains achievements tied to special systems outside normal racing progression. These focus on performance markers, junkman upgrades, and impound strike management.

Important

After each Blacklist win, you may only pick two markers. These choices are critical — Pink Slips, Extra Impound Strikes, and Junkman Parts all compete for the same pool. If you want to unlock every achievement in one run, you must carefully plan marker selection to avoid being locked out.

Bonus Achievement List

Title Guidance & Insights

Perfect Start

Achievement badge icon
Perform a Perfect Launch in any non-drag race. Simply rev your engine in the countdown and release the accelerator right as the race begins; your revs should sit in the green zone.

Tip: Time it so that when the countdown hits zero, the launch meter must flashe in blue. If done correctly, a "Perfect Launch" pop-up will appear in the center of the screen, and the achievement will unlock instantly.

I Am the Junkman

Achievement badge icon
Equip all six Junkman performance parts (Engine, Transmission, Turbo/Supercharger, Tires, Suspension, Brakes) on a single car in Career Mode.

Each Junkman upgrade can be obtained from specific Blacklist marker rewards:
- #15: Brakes · #14: Suspension · #13: Transmission · #12: Turbo/Supercharger · #11: Tires · #4: Engine.

Tip: Autosave off lets you reload if you don't win the right marker. Some high-end cars can't equip Junkman parts; the Cobalt SS is a safe choice.

In order to install Junkman parts, go to the Car Shop, then enter the Backroom by pressing the O button. Next, equip all Junkman parts through the Performance Upgrades category. Once done, exit the shop and the achievement should unlock.
Achievement Hint Image

Achievement Tracking

- A Measured Indicator tracks how many parts are installed as %.

Untouchable

Achievement badge icon
Own a car with 5 total Impound Strike slots in Career Mode. Cars start with 3 slots by default, so you need 2 Extra Impound Strike markers on the same car.

These markers can appear when defeating Blacklist members: #14, #12, #10, #9, #8, #5, and #3.

Tip: Plan carefully if you are also going for Junkman Parts, since marker overlap can cause conflicts. Recommended path is to prioritize Junkman parts first, then Impound Strike markers once you've secured the essentials.

- Code Contributor's Tribute to Blazekickn: Blazekickn dedicated an incredible amount of time and effort to developing this set. While some of the logic didn't fully align with current RA standards and a few achievements were particularly brutal, his contributions are truly unforgettable in the RA community. I was genuinely blown away by some of the maneuvers he had to execute to make certain logic work. Your time on devving NFS is priceless.

An indicator displayed by the RetroAchievements overlay, often used to track specific progress within an achievement.

Examples:

  • Race Wins/Milestones - 5/7
  • Police Vehicles Involved - 7/150
  • Infractions Recorded - 4/8

• Triggered Indicator

An indicator displayed by the RetroAchievements overlay, typically used to show when a challenge achievement is available for unlocking or when it is currently active. If this indicator disappears before the achievement unlocks, it often signals a failure, indicating that a retry is necessary.
