3) Walkthrough

Step 1: Progression Achievements

These achievements track your natural progress in Single Player mode. You will unlock them simply by playing through the game’s main mode.

This is the easiest step to complete in your journey to master the set.

Step 2: Misc. Achievements

Miscellaneous (Misc.) achievements are fun, side objectives that encourage you to try different actions, moves, or playstyles. These don’t require you to finish the entire game, but they add variety and push you to master specific mechanics like blocking, aerial combat, or Digivolving. Most can be unlocked in regular matches with a bit of planning.

Step 3: Beat on Hard Characters Achievements

These achievements challenge you to clear the entire Single Player mode on Hard difficulty with each playable Digimon, including secret and alternate versions. This is the biggest chunk of your playthroughs and proves your mastery with every character’s moveset, strengths, and weaknesses.

Always choose the bottom route (the easier path) in Single Player mode — it pits you against only one opponent per match, making Hard difficulty runs much more manageable.

Step 4: Single Player Challenges Achievements

Single Player Challenges are unique, skill-based objectives that test your mastery of the game's mechanics under specific conditions. Unlike progression achievements, these don’t require you to finish the whole mode — instead, they ask you to win matches while following strict limitations (like avoiding Digivolution, not using certain buttons, or preventing enemy KOs).

These challenges reward creativity, patience, and knowledge of character strengths.

Most challenges are easiest in the first match on Easy difficulty, unless stated otherwise.

Step 5: Unlocks Achievements

These achievements reward you for unlocking all of the game’s hidden content — including secret characters, stages, and multiplayer match types. You’ll need to meet special conditions while playing Single Player to find them all.

Step 6: Multiplayer Challenges Achievements

These achievements test your skills in the game’s Multiplayer modes by setting strict win conditions — such as fighting stronger CPU opponents, winning without taking damage, or preventing your rivals from scoring points. Step 7: Combos Achievements

These are the only achievements that allow the opponent to be a second human player, so you can make the opponent stand still or not block to simplify combos.
🛡️ Choose an opponent with high health and defense, such as:
- Malomyotismon, or
- any Digimon with high durability and defense.
🏝️ Pick the Jungle Ruins stage — it's flat, open, and has useful walls for juggling combos.
🧱 Position your opponent next to a wall before starting the combo — this helps your attacks bounce them back for easier combo chains.

🎯 Tips While Performing Combos:

⚽ Kick the opponent into the air like a ball — then:
- Follow up with aerial attacks.
- Chain hits quickly without pausing.
⛓️ Avoid long gaps between hits — or the combo counter will reset.

💀 You're allowed to lose a life, but you must not Digivolve at any point.

- BlackAgumon or Veemon — both are strong in base form.
⚠️ Avoid picking up any items, as some of them can trigger Digivolution and void the achievement.

Against All Odds (25)
As P1, win a Multiplayer KO match as Neemon with your power set to 1 against 3 CPU Bosses with their power set to 5.

💡 Tips:

Best Strategy:

Pick a stage like Twisted Toytown — it scrolls automatically to the right at the start, which can make the bosses run off the edges and fall by themselves.
Take advantage of Neemon’s speed to dodge attacks. Don’t stay in the middle of the bosses for too long.
Stay on solid platforms whenever possible and don’t stand too long on crumbling ones.
⚠️ Important: Avoid choosing MaloMyotismon — he’s one of the toughest bosses to handle. Instead, pick easier bosses like Duskmon, Omnimon, and Diaboromon. They’re less aggressive and easier to bait off the platforms.
Be patient and repeat the attempt if needed — the stage’s auto-scroll can do a lot of the work for you when your power is just 1!

🗝️ Using the stage’s side-scrolling effect is a clever way to win this challenge with minimal direct fighting!

Dominating the Clock (25)
As P1, win a Multiplayer Timed match against 3 CPU opponents without letting any of them score a KO, and score at least 15 KOs without dying.

💡 Tips:

Best Strategy:

Use Diaboromon for this challenge — his Web Wrecker (Square) and Line Surge (Down + Square, then Square Square) moves make it easy to hit multiple opponents quickly and rack up KOs.
Pick weak CPU opponents like Patamon, Palmon, and Neemon to reduce the risk of getting knocked out.
💪 Set your power to the maximum level (5) and set all CPU opponents’ power to 1 — this gives you a big advantage in both damage and survival.
Focus on getting your 15 KOs as fast as possible while keeping an eye on your health.
Once you reach 15 KOs, stop fighting aggressively and just stay safe until the timer runs out: keep your distance, block as much as possible, and avoid risky attacks.
Use health pickups if available — and remember you can charge your health by spending energy: press L1 + X (default control) to heal during the match.
Staying calm and using Diaboromon’s long-range moves helps you control the fight without getting surrounded.

Use a small and fast character — Gatomon is highly recommended thanks to her speed, agility, and small hitbox, which help avoid enemy attacks.
Choose weak and predictable CPU opponents like Patamon, Palmon, or Gomamon.
Set your Power to 5 and all CPU opponents’ power to 1 for a clear advantage.
Pick the Steamworks stage — it offers a safe spot you can use to avoid danger.
📍 Pro Tip: Stand in the safe location shown in the Steamworks image. From there, CPU opponents will struggle to reach or damage you.

Focus on defense: block frequently, avoid jumping into attacks, and don’t rush.
Grab shield items if they appear, and stay calm if the fight gets chaotic.

🗝️ Use Gatomon’s speed and the Steamworks safe spot to stay untouched and clear the challenge flawlessly — one enemy left is much easier to manage!

Perfect Pursuit (25)
As P1, win a Multiplayer Crazy Chase match against 3 CPU opponents without letting any of them score a point.

💡 Tips:

Best Strategy:

🧱 Play as a large character — like MaloMyotismon or Omnimon — their large size and wide hitbox help reach Culumon more easily and physically block smaller opponents from getting close.
Set your Power to 5 and set all CPU opponents’ power to 1 to give yourself maximum speed and survivability.
Choose weak and small-sized CPU characters such as Neemon, Palmon, or Patamon to make the match much easier.
Select a simple and open stage — avoid ones with hazards or verticality that could slow you down or disrupt movement.
At the start of the match, rush to touch Culumon and begin scoring immediately.
Keep moving constantly — run in wide loops, zig-zags, or jump to stay unpredictable and avoid being blocked.
❌ Do not waste time attacking — your only goal is to reach Culumon before anyone else.
If any CPU opponent touches Culumon even once, the challenge will fail — restart if that happens.
Stay sharp — keep focus even when you're ahead. One slip-up can ruin a perfect run.

🕷️ Use Diaboromon — his long reach and powerful Line Surge ability make him ideal for holding the hill.
Set your Power to 5 and all CPU opponents’ power to 1 to give yourself maximum control.
Choose weak and small CPU characters like Neemon, Palmon, or Patamon to reduce incoming pressure.
Select the Jungle Ruins stage — it's flat and doesn’t contain hazards, making it easier to maintain hill control without interruptions.
🌀 Once you’re on the hill, hold block (L1) or spam Diaboromon’s “Line Surge” attack (Down + Square, then Square Square) to knock away any opponents who get close.
Focus on quickly repelling intruders — don’t let anyone remain in the hill zone, even for a second.
📍 Stay in the center of the hill to maximize control and react to threats from either side.
Don’t chase opponents. Let them come to you and punish their attempts to reach the hill.
💡 Pick up shield or power-up items if they appear near your position.
If any CPU scores a point, the achievement attempt fails — you'll need to retry.

⚔️ This is the opposite of the “Size Doesn’t Matter” achievement — here, your goal is to eliminate enemies as quickly as possible before the poison overwhelms you.
Use a fast and powerful attacker like Diaboromon, capable of KO’ing opponents quickly with aggressive combos.
Set your Power to 5, and all CPU opponents' power to 1 to ensure they go down fast.
Choose weak CPU characters such as Patamon, Palmon, or Neemon to make things easier.
Pick a flat, simple stage like Jungle Ruins to avoid hazards that could accidentally hit you.
As the match starts, go all-in aggressively — the longer the match lasts, the higher the chance of taking accidental damage from poison or stray hits.
🔒 Block when needed, but don’t turtle — speed is the key to this challenge.
💡 If hit even once, restart the match immediately — this is a zero-damage requirement.

Set your Power to 5 to maximize your mobility and survivability.
Choose weak and predictable CPU opponents such as Patamon, Neemon, or Palmon to reduce the threat level.
Select a simple and open stage like Jungle Ruins — these give you space to maneuver and escape easily.
As soon as the match starts, immediately grab the orb and keep moving — never stop, even for items.
Run in loops or zig-zag patterns, and use jumping and dodging to stay out of enemy reach.
Do NOT try to attack or KO the CPUs — that only increases risk and wastes time. Focus purely on evasion and movement.

Set your Power to 5, and all CPU opponents to Power 5 as well, to meet the achievement’s challenge — but select weak CPU characters like Neemon, Palmon, or Patamon to make the task easier.
Choose a flat and open stage like Jungle Ruins for better visibility and movement control.
🧠 Keep a close eye on the chip counters in the HUD — if any CPU nears 8 or 9 chips, immediately target them and knock them out to make them drop their chips.
You don’t need to constantly KO everyone — just focus on stopping anyone close to 10.
