D1_Mini

The recommended hardware for the bridge is a Wemos D1 Mini.

However, you can use any ESP8266-based development board, such as a NodeMCU or Arduino board, as long as it has at least 4MB of flash memory. No pins, soldering or other wiring is required. The Wemos D1 Mini is recommended due to the small size and low cost.

You will also need a power source for your board of choice. Normally this will be a 5V USB source that will connect to your board via the USB port or via hardwire if your board does not have a USB port. For the D1 Mini, you can use a simple phone charger or power from a computer's USB port with a micro-usb cable.

No other hardware is required.
