Selecting a UI element
You can select a UI element by hovering over it.
Targeting a UI element
You can target a UI element by holding the left Shift key and hovering over the element. This will "lock" the Selected element, allowing you to view the distance between the Selected and Target elements, and their alignment. "Locking" the Selected element also allows for copying the element's properties by clicking on them in the Properties panel.
Launching the app with a keyboard shortcut
- Create a Desktop shortcut for the app.
- Navigate to the install location (eg. C:\Program Files (x86)\outlines).
- Right-click OutlinesApp.exe -> Send to -> Desktop (create shortcut)
- Navigato to the Desktop.
- Right-click the created shortcut -> Properties.
- Select the "Shortcut" tab.
- Click the "Shortcut key" field.
- Press the key combination you'd like to use as shortcut (eg. Ctrl + Shift + I).
- Click the "Apply" button. You can now close the window, the shortcut should be enabled.
*Note that if you delete the Desktop shortcut, the keyboard shortcut will be removed as well.
