General

This is a random, dynamic event in DayZ that will provide the user with some valuable loot.

The loot that spawns in and around the heli crashes is different to the loot that spawns at DayZ vanilla crash sites. There is a variety of loot, equipment and weapons that can be found at these.

Not only will you have to watch out for the zombies that spawn around them, but also other players hunting them too.

Possible Locations

You may potentially hear the helicopter malfunctioning, engine spluttering, then crashing into the ground. Follow this audio cue, along with the plume of smoke to find the helicopters cargo scattered on the floor.

Rather than a list of locations, you need to know that these spawn quite central on the map.

There are two types of Helicopter crashes in the game. The American UH-1Y-Venom:

Loot

Although we will not be telling you exactly what you can find at the crash sites, you will want to make sure you check everywhere around and even inside of the crash, there is some rare and valuable items that can be found.
