Dol Ginepru - RedPhoenix404/dnd GitHub Wiki

A hidden portal-site, deep in the woods of Fildaera, once an active way to and from the elven empire to destinations equaly hidden, and long forgotten.

Dol Ginepru lay's forgotten and has been overrun by different kind of creatures since its fall. It's portal still hums with the magic that once powered traveling from site-to-site, only waiting for a new master to unlock it.

Layout; Level 0 1 - The main entrance-hall is both practical and beaitifull. The murals depict mages casting conjurations to create this magical site. The races seem mixed; Elves, Humans, Dwarves, Halflings and Gnomes. Other races can bee seen if you look for them, altough no Orc is to be seen.
Directly acros the entrance is an shaft directly dowm once build to easily get cargo in and out of the compound 2 - Multiple rooms for guests, personall or guards. All rooms have (or once had) double beds and a simple chest. In some rooms the remains of chairs and pillows can still be seen.
3 - A fully-equiped kitchen and canteen once where fully prepared to cook a meal for hungry travelers or site-personall. Murals indicate this was a room where comeradery and cooperation where cellebrated and encouraged.
4 - A entrance, once well hidden between the rocks, is now hidden even better. Bushes have overgrown it and branches fallen over it. The double-doors once keeping unwanted visitors out lay's in pieces, scattered arround.
5 - A lift-mechanism, once used to get cargo in and out of the facility, still stands strong, and might still work. Large woodem beams, fastend and reinforced with iron braces stand strong, while only the whinch might creack a little.

Level -1 1 - Once perhaps a library filled with books, scrolls and maps. Now? A mess of wood, paper and trashed desks. Nothing seems where it is supposed to be, and even the once beautyfull tapestry's (clearly Elven made) are starting to decay.
2 - This workshop only seems to be lacking tools (stolen, perhaps?), but everything else seems of excelent quality and has held strong angainst the test of time. Scratches and even bitmarks of strong fangs indicate the more then one creature has tried to move the heavy dwarven anvil and intricatly designed workbench tough.
3 - A large area for storage of items, both large and small. Only some crates and barrels reamain, all empty. The braces for shelves can still be seen on the wall's, the wooden shelvels themself removed.
4 - This study seems to be designed for one person, the desk still stands in relativly good condition (the chair not so much). The books, scrolls and tapestry's have been destroyed by boredom, time or vandalism. A large mural depicts an Elven female, deep-purple robes and with a beautifull ring, standing in front of large round portal. 5 - A bedroom, once, with a large bed, cabinets and heavilly decorated... Everything. The wall's, roof; beautifull. The murals are trying to look like windows, looking over a green forrest.
