TDR - RedDot-3ND7355/MPO-GPU-FIX GitHub Wiki
TDR (Timeout detection and recovery) is a feature of the Windows operating system introduced in Windows Vista. It detects response problems from a graphics card, and if a timeout occurs, resets the card to recover a functional desktop environment and if it fails, it results in Blue Screen of Death.
This feature can cause game crashes when there is absolutely no issue at all by restarting the gpu drivers.
Adding a bigger delay (rather than 2 seconds) to trigger TDR will fix these TDR errors on NVIDIA(mostly) & AMD GPUs.
