ACE introduces crew seats, which are entities that simulate crew members and provide benefits depending on the type of crew member the seat represents.
- You can find all these entities by going to "Entities" -> "ACE-Crewseats."
Driver:
This seat represents the driver of the vehicle, and boosts the horsepower of the linked engine by 25%, improving its response time.
Gunner:
This seat represents the gunner of the vehicle, and reduces the spread of the linked gun, improving its accuracy by 50%.
Loader:
This seat functions as the vehicle's loader, significantly reducing reload times. With a loader in place, your gun can achieve its maximum firing rate(each gun has its own number, so check the menu for that information). However, loaders, being human, have limitations and can become fatigued. Their stamina is influenced by factors such as bullet mass and the distance between the gun and the ammunition source. The advantage is that you can employ multiple loaders, allowing them to take turns and swap out when one becomes tired. Keep in mind, that if loader seat is angled, the time it will take to refill the stamina will increase. So the higher the angle the higher the recovery time.
- To use the crew, simply link the ACE entity to the designated crew member, as is done with most ACE entities. For example, to use a gunner, right-click on the gun and then right-click on the gunner member.
