Promote and enforce non-discriminatory laws and policies for sustainable development

• https://www.congress.gov/browse Search legislation specific for each goal. Make a complete list of legislation and create an “ally” label. In that list and ally label, include the repeal of existing, harmful laws.
• Systems Thinking: This is a resource for systems thinking. Some of the titles look like they might be problematic, have not read them yet. Below is the link to their public policy category but check out the home page too. https://thesystemsthinker.com/topics/public-policy/ I put some links into the other goal documents. I did not yet add the education section or the social change section to the documents.

Individual Actions:

• Educate yourself on different forms of discrimination (gender, race, disability, etc.) and their impacts on marginalized communities.

• Call out discriminatory behavior, language or practices when you encounter them in your daily life.

• Support businesses, organizations and initiatives that embrace diversity, equity and inclusion principles.

• Avoid unconscious biases that perpetuate discrimination in your decisions and interactions. Contributing to Systemic Change:

• Advocate for strengthening anti-discrimination laws, policies and enforcement mechanisms at local/national levels.

• Support initiatives and campaigns pushing for greater diversity and representation in leadership roles across sectors.

• Encourage companies/institutions to conduct anti-bias training, implement equity audits and diversity programs. Push for data collection and reporting on diversity to identify and address potential discrimination.

• Vote for political leaders/parties with strong anti-discrimination agendas for sustainable development.

• Promote civic engagement and participation of marginalized groups in policy/decision-making processes.
