Product log - Rasmus1989/Projektarebete_Grupp2 GitHub Wiki

This is where we're putting updated info on how our process is going on a week-to-week basis. Scroll down to read a summary of that weeks process and what we've been doing.

####Project Week 5

####Project Week 4 (UPDATED) During this week we started out by Marcus and Nils explaining the framework they'd done with the code so the rest of the group could understand the structure and logic, so to make us able to start designing themes. We then decided to work out 3 themes that would be able to pick and choose from by the sprint demo deadline. However, we came across problems with code again. I guess it's always like that when working with code. It wasn't just the main framework that we had problems in. We, the ones making the themes also came across some issues when working on implementing the themes which lead to us only having one theme working at the week presentation. Though the basic function with it's bits and pieces were in place, we had gotten some feedback on what to focus on for the next week. And that would be to get everything in it's place, as well as sharpen up our theme designs.

####Project Week 3 (UPDATED) Week number three was mainly focused on putting the basic framework of the code together. Marcus and Nils were working on how to connect to firebase through the android application to the java application and worked out ways to make it easier for the rest of the group to delve in to coding out a couple of themes. By the end of the week, at the sprint demo we had a running demonstration that showed how it was supposed to work with everything in it's place. We were almost done with the framework but time catched up to us, because of minor and pretty much, unsolvable issues we had come across during the week. We decided that the main focus for the next week should be to get everything working as it should.

####Project Week 2 (UPDATED) During project week two we dove deeper in to working out the basic function of firebase and the connection between it and our project code. We also put a lot of effort in to working out a graphical visualisation to be shown on the sprint demo.

This was also a very short week, which meant that we didn't want to overwork anything and decided to find more feasible goals for the sprint. What came out of it was a working demo that showed how our function is supposed to work, though crude in display and design. We both designed a logo and decided on a name for the app - Count Me in.

At the weelky sprint retrospect we talked about the good and bad things we'd come across during the week, and came to some realisations about how we should continue our work together. This made us even more stronger as a team, and we also decided on how to approach project week 3.

####Project Week 1 (UPDATED)

During project week one we started by creating a group contract, defining the rules of how we're supposed to work together. We also decided on our project concept - A survey creator that works by creating a question with multiple alternatives in your phone, with it's answers represented in a graphically pleasing visualisation on the main screen.

We worked out the basics of the Firebase platform, working with Lars predesigned repository from github. We also started sketching out some ideas of possible themes for the main screen display. For the weekly sprint we had two representatives from the group explain our concept and show the graphics we'd worked out so far for this week.
