Privacy Policy for Rando Application
This Privacy Policy explains how we use the information we collect about you and procedures we have in place to safeguard your privacy.
In this Privacy Policy references to we, us and our, are to RandoApp community (more information about RandoApp community you can get at github organization https://github.com/RandoApp). Certain expressions used in this Privacy Policy (such as Images) have definitions which are set out in the Terms and Conditions for use of Rando.
1. What Information we Collect
The information we collect may include:
1.1 Personal details you give us when creating your account including your name, user name, email address and hash function of the email address and your password.
1.2 Your device IP address.
1.3 Your device information so that we can send, push or update notifications from Rando (can be disabled in device settings).
1.4 Prompt for GPS signal so that we can determine your location and store GPS co-ordinates on our server.
2. What we do with your Information
2.1 Any personal information we hold we may use for some or all of the following purposes:
2.1.1 To create your account and provide you with the features of Rando.
2.1.2 We may use your email address to send you information with news, other products and service. You will be offered the option to opt out.
2.1.3 We promise not to share your personal information with any third party.
2.1.4 We may use aggregated information for the purpose of monitoring use of the Rando Application. Such aggregated information may be provided to third parties. These statistics will not include information which can be used to identify any individual.
2.2 Please note Images that you post on Rando become available to be viewed and used by another Rando user randomly selected. Such other user is not given details of your identity. However, your GPS location will be sent to other Rando users receiving Images from you but these will locate your position to the level of country and city only.
3. Protection of Information
3.1 Applications are not a secure medium. However, we have put in place recommended up to data security measures and will review these and keep them updated regularly.
3.2 Subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy, we keep your information confidential. To ensure that we are able to maintain confidentiality you must comply with the Terms and Conditions for the use of Rando.
3.3 You agree not to collect any personal information on other living individuals by your access to Rando and Images sent to you by others.
4. Updating/Modification
4.1 If any of the details you have provided to us change, please give us correct details by email to [email protected]
4.2 We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy without notice. You are advised to check this Privacy Policy regularly as your continued use of Rando will be considered acceptance of it.
5. Your Consent
5.1 By setting up your account and submitting your Images to Rando you consent to the use of that information and content as set out in this Privacy Policy.
5.2 By setting up your account or use API, you agree that your are responsible for any actions, that can destructivelly affect service or users.
5.3 Owing to the global nature of the internet, the information you provide may be transferred to companies outside the European Economic Area (EEA) that do not have similar protections in place to those which apply in the EEA regarding your data and its use as set out in this Policy. However, we have taken steps outlined in this Policy to protect the security of your information and will keep any transfers outside the EEA to a necessary minimum. By submitting your information you consent to these transfers.

6.2 Rando is open source project and you can inspect source code at github service, by web link https://github.com/RandoApp
6.3 To the extent that the law allows we will not be held responsible for any loss, incidental or consequential damage, or loss arising out of installation, use (unauthorised or otherwise), errors, mistakes, accident, theft or fraud, destruction, or any part of the provision of services.
6.4 This Privacy Policy is subject to the Terms and Conditions for the use of Rando.
