The plan

This will be a focused learning seminar on random matrices. We are going to read papers with the hope of applying techniques to particular random matrix questions. Ideally, we break up into groups to work though papers together.

There will be weekly talks - more or less - over the summer. Missing some talks will not be a barrier to participation. Talks are suppose to be VERY engaging. Speakers should speak slowly, explain important ideas, include details, and go over proofs. Audience should ask plenty of questions to make sure the material is clear. At the end of the day we want to understand ideas in order to solve problems....
