Getting Started

Use the accepted v1.5.2 index.html. The Settings version is v1.5.2. GitHub Release v1.5.2 is published. Alternatively download its Source code ZIP, extract it and open index.html.

1. Open index.html in Chrome. For testing, use the Dashboard Test profile and Command+O on macOS.
2. Use Add link for a URL, title, description, group and optional icon.
3. Click the dashboard title to edit; Enter saves and Escape restores.
4. Use Settings for Dashboard, Layout and Wallpaper. Save applies; Close/Escape discards edits.
5. Choose Picsum daily for online photos, or keep a local image, static URL or solid colour.
6. Search with Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo or Perplexity. Enter opens results in a new tab. Reorder provider boxes by their grips or keyboard move actions.
7. Export before importing replacement data.

No build or package installation is needed. A static server is optional. Storage belongs to the browser profile and file location/site origin; localhost does not inherit local-file data. Copying index.html alone does not transfer saved data.

Open a tile or submit a search to reveal Continue with these tabs beneath the tiles. Show more expands from three rows to up to ten unique recent URLs. Clear hides the card across reloads until new activity occurs. This records dashboard actions, not Chrome history.
