MIPS Family toolchain

For platforms based on the MIPS architecture the recommended toolchain is "Codescape GNU Tools for MIPS - MTI".

The latest version can be downloaded from https://www.mips.com/develop/tools/codescape-mips-sdk/.

1. Select Codescape GNU Toolchain
2. Select the Downloads tab in the Codescape Toolchain page
3. Download the MTI Bare Metal Toolchain depending on your OS.

This toolchain is required for building RIOT for PIC32 devices too, the Microchip XC32 Compiler is not supported.
