Description

This was developed for isotopic correction of all isotopes, including rare ones e.g. 57Fe and elements with more than two isotopes e.g. O (16,17 and 18), using a matrix-based method. It can be applied to both natural abundance isotopic variance and isotopically labeled metabolites. To avoid biases the optimisation method includes constraints on the isotopic fraction values. It can only handle MS and not MS/MS data. It is not possible for negative correction values to be produced.
