e) Motor and Battery sizing of the system
Power supply

- Factor of safety = 1.2
- Therefore 1.526*1.2 = 1.83
- We are using 60 rpm DC geared motor
- Servo motor
- F = m*g
- F = 69*9.8 = 676.2 N
- T = F*r
- T = 676.2210^-3 = 1.352
Battery Sizing
- Servo motor
- Battery capacity = T * I * number of motors = 1 * 650 * 2 = 1300 mA
- Factor of safety = 1.2
- Therefore, Total current required = 1300 * 1.2 = 1056 mA
- DC Motor
- Battery capacity = time * current * number of motors = 1 * 300 * 1 = 300 mA
- Factor of safety = 1.2
- Therefore, Total current required = 300 * 1.2 = 360 mA
