In this act of the play we see the changing of fate or luck.** Cordelia returns to the kingdom as the queen of France**, and a Lear that has lost most of his power while his banished daughter is now the queen of a nation.

What is forgiveness to begin with?

The play makes the distinction between Justice being Forgiveness, and vengeance. At the end of the play it will be interesting to see who lives, and who dies.

• The people who are looked at more fondly at the end of this play are more often the ones that are loyal to Lear at the end.
