QDR Monthly progress update: Technical Team

Monthly progress reports consists of five sections:

1. Roadmap progress
2. Review of testing coverage, outages, and any disruptions to service
3. Review of the issues filed by users or curation staff, and our team's response
4. Updates made to current roadmap
5. Etc work by QDR TT

Roadmap Progress

• Continuing to QA a migration of QDR to Dataverse 5 (currently testing on Dev and Stage environments)
  • We estimate this is ~ 1 week worth of work to complete and move to Prod
• Reserve file PIDs
  • Submitted PR to IQSS https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/pull/7334 - but waiting for progress on speed of DOI registration issue https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/7393 to implement
• Site / Data Search - Working to provide clearer hints to users about queries posed in different search boxes on qdr.syr.edu
• Working to resolve some issues on new loadbalancers on Dev (this is our diagnosis for 502 / 504 errors)

Review of disruptions to service

• None

• Login link from "Request Access" on File landing page fails https://github.com/QualitativeDataRepository/dataverse/issues/53 (fixed and deployed to Prod)

• Migration to Drupal 9
