Discussion Topics
We need to be clear about where backups are being stored, how often, and in what locations. Ideally:
- 2 locations (AWS - S3; Syracuse)- > Is there a need to also backup some of prod in Gcloud or is that too overboard?
- What is backed up -> Data, Site Configuration (aka anything not stored in GH)
- How often is it backed up: 5 day rolling, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year (ideally we have only a few of these replicated)
- Monitoring - how do we know backups are being created?
