- 2 things backed up - Dataverse and Infra components
- Infra components are compressed in an archive
- In s3 - we have four copies each week (they expire after 3 days)
- The bucket size is 50gb
- What we were sending to ICT (writing out from S3) was all four backups
- Seba changed this so that for infra backups we just archive 1 copy (representing one day rather than all four days)
QDR S3 Bucket
- Total bucket size looks like its almost 1TB
- But the actual size is more like 50gb
- Seba set new rules to expire old versions after 4 days -
Next week
- we should see Sunday write out and bill go down significantly
- Coupled with Amazon back up and ICT - we have a pretty robust disaster recovery set up ...
