QDC OnDemand Scenarios - QlikPreSalesDACH/Qlik-Data-Concierge GitHub Wiki

The QDC OnDemand Scenarios are using the following files:

Frontend (webapplication):
- qdc-odi.html (SAP BW BEx example)
- qdc-odi.js (SAP BW BEx example)
- qdc-odi-hana.html (SAP HANA example)
- qdc-odi-hana.js (SAP HANA example)

Backend (metadata):
- QDC Actuals and Plan Selection App.qvf (SAP BW BEx example)
- QDC Actuals and Plan Template.qvf (SAP BW BEx example)
- QDC SAP HANA Live Access Selection.qvf (SAP HANA example)
- QDC SAP HANA Live Template.qvf (SAP HANA example)

How does it work?

As you see in the section above we are delivering 2 different OnDemand Demo Scenarios within the QDC setup.

  1. Actuals and Plan Scenario:
    • working with data from a SAP BW BEx Query
    • let's the user pick a timeframe to aquire live data from SAP
    • delivers after the reload a Template application to start right away analysing your data
  2. Live Flight Data Analysis Scenario:
    • working with data from SAP HANA tables
    • delivers after the reload a Template application to start right away analysing your data
    • the fact table is directly connected to the source and not cashed in memory (Direct Discovery)

Both scenarios are using our internal ODI (OnDemand) extension to generate pre defined dashbaords containing live data during the runtime. The user is able to take his data "to go" and can directly analyse the data he needs to answer his questions. No need to request a dataset or a dashboard through IT.

If you like to get more information about the odi (OnDemand) extensions please qlik on the link.

Setup OnDemand Scenarios

The OnDemand Scenarios are working in the Qlik internal environment. It is not possible to gain access on the defined data from outside.

We are delivering these 2 scenarios to give you a kind of a blueprint to generate your onDemand Scenario that fits to your usecases and needs. So you are welcome to have a closer look on the scripts.

The Template qvf's are preloaded with data. It's possible to open them in the hub.
