The material you share online is automatically protected by copyright. To allow others to reuse your material, you have to add a license.
There are two main groups of licenses:
Licenses for research outputs
The most commonly used licenses for creative work are the Creative Commons licenses. You can create your license combining the following features:
Creative Commons: You are using a Creative Commons license
Attribution: You want others to cite your material
Non commercial: You do not want others to use your material for commercial purpose
No derivatives: You do not want others to change your material
Share alike: You want others to share your material with your same license
By combining these features, you can create a license with a lower or higher degree of freedom of reuse of your material:

- Reply to the questions in

- Copy name, symbol, or code in
Have a web page
? and add it to your document (e.g. presentation, website, etc.)
Note
- Creative Commons licenses are not recommended for software because they do not contain specifications for source code
