Goal

To support consistent encoding of the finding location for prostate MRI review, we need to be able to support various schemes for prostate gland subdivision and for encoding types of ROIs in DICOM.

Background

Sector schemes of varying granularity have been proposed [1]. European consensus panel for optimal practice recommends 27 ROIs [1]. ACR PI-RADS v2 uses 39 sectors [2].
