Is there a Mac or Linux version? – No, but you can try using WINE.
What colors are available? – Two pre-set palettes exist, taken from the FOTW website. One ("available colors") is FOTW's own standard palette, taken from this page. The second ("standard colors") is the British Navy's "Flags of All Nations" palette, taken from this page and converted to the closest matching RGB color. You can also click "Advanced" to pick any color you like.
How can I adjust the overlay slider values?
- Uncheck the checkbox to allow for any decimal value you want.
- Click the value to enter something in using the keyboard,and press Enter to confirm.
  - Type any value in manually
  - Use the up and down arrow keys to nudge by 0.01
  - Enter a percentage or fractional value.
How do I make a perfect circle / diamond / square? – Use a height of 0.
