Streaming Game Servers - Protektor-Desura/Archon GitHub Wiki

Streaming Game Server allows you to stream any Linux, Windows or retro console emulator to any device in home. It gives you the ability to play any game regardless of the capabilities of the device you are attempting to use to play games, since everything is processed on the server. This allows you to need less resources throughout your home to play games that you enjoy by consolidating all resources into a single home server.

There are two Linux options currently for streaming game servers to remote clients.

AMD Link

AMD offers there own version of game streaming with AMD Link.

No Linux server has been released yet.

Nvidia Gamestream

There is a new fork of Sunshine. You will need to download one of the Moonlight Clients for your device in order to stream games from your server.

You can find the docker version here called Games on Whales.

Project Endgame

Intel is releasing new GPUs, the ARC line of GPUs. It is reported that Intel will offer a streaming game option called "Project Endgame".
