Client Meeting January 18th - ProstheticFalconry/Capstone GitHub Wiki

Dave brings up major concerns regarding flight motors and the inability for quadcopter to fly without serious complications. Motors are misspeced as the are high torque low speed which is cause severe issues with quadcopter flight. Do we want to spend the money and make a great quadcopter or save the money and make an okay quadcopter? David and Jaden run through projected simulations of the flight of quadcopter with the motors. Explains difference between motors and batteries explains pros and cons. Jaden gives us the green light to purchase both motors and battery which will ensure a stronger quadcopter. Mihai and Dave talk weight of mechanical systems and try to advertise to clients that we can build a well specced quadcopter if we go ahead and shrink actuator and chassis. Jaden has concerns for motor and battery as battery charger they have may not work with our new battery. Dave and Mihai are confident charger will work with the new quadcopter battery. We new new battery, motors, propellers, but ESC's can remain as they are fine for the quadcopter. Nick and Austin are going to come in sometime this week and see how porous we can make the wings of the quadcopter. Nick volunteers to do early mock up the main PCB board. We start dictating ways to reduce weight with regards to mechanical systems and Dave states that if between the two components we can reduce the actuator and chassis by 150g the flight concerns we have would be a thing of the past.
