Trigger
Don't squeeze too hard, the actuation force is very low. If it isn't shooting then it's blocked in some way by software.
Folding Stock
The mechanism can be fragile. Don't put a force on the stock whilst pressing the release button, it can block the internal mechanism and pressing too hard can break the pin inside.
Only unlock by pressing the button.
Flywheels / motors
Check the temperature. ESC temperature is monitored and protected so usually that also prevents motor overheating. But if it gets too hot to touch with your hands, it's a good time to let it cool. At room temperature, cooling should be sufficient to deplete an entire battery in 1 go, but I have not tested it in hot environments.
Monitor for noises. All screws in the flywheels and motors are loctited. Still, checking if they are tight every once in a while is a good idea. If you hear any strange noises, open up the side aluminum to check for loose screws.
Joystick
The joystick is not a button, don't try to press it too hard or it could break or recess itself.
Fuse / Reverse voltage protection.
If you reverse the battery's polarity, this should be protected. But you will still burn your battery terminals up, so they will have to be replaced. Always check polarity when plugging in.
There are two internal fuses to protect against battery overcurrents (and they may also trip during reverse voltage!). If you find the blaster won't turn on, this could indicate a broken fuse. This can be fixed by replacing the high current fuse (10x3.2mm, 40A), or the low current fuse (0603 (1608 metric), 1.25A, >25V). The low current fuse is for the control electronics and the screen, and the high current fuse is for the motors and solenoid. If the screen turns on, but the voltage reading is always (close to) 0V, then the high current fuse may be broken. If the blaster does not turn on but you hear motor beeps, then the low current fuse may be broken. If nothing happens, both may be broken.
Safety
Never shoot at people that are not wearing protection, wear eye protection at all times. Clothing protection also advised as darts can leave marks/wounds on open skin. We are not responsible for any injuries caused by misuse or accidental damage.
Battery safety
Always handle LIPO batteries with care. Do not leave your battery plugged in as it will drain it over time. Safely charging and discharging your batteries are your responsibility.
