Firing Menu - Project-Stinger/Main GitHub Wiki

-
Fire Mode: The mode in which the pusher operates.
- Single: The pusher will only push one dart per trigger pull.
- Semi-Auto: The pusher will push a set number of darts per trigger pull.
- Auto: The pusher will push darts as long as the trigger is pulled.
- Maximum DPS (V2 only and only in burst and continuous): The pusher will automatically try to fire as fast as possible as long as the limit is not reached. You can switch off automatic timing in the expert settings and use the "Darts/s" setting instead.
- Darts/s (V1 only and only in burst and continuous): Number of darts to fire per second in continuous or burst mode
- Burst Count (only in Burst mode): The number of darts the pusher will push per trigger pull
- Mag. Capacity: Amount of darts a magazine can hold. The dart counter is set to this value when a magazine is inserted.
Warning
Extensive dry firing wears out the pusher/solenoid
Expert

- Fire w/o mag: Allow firing without a magazine inserted.
- Fire w/o darts: Allow firing without darts in the magazine. Note that the sensor can not differentiate between a full and an empty magazine. Full/empty status is derived from the dart counter on the homescreen.
- Pusher Decay ms: Duration in ms, after which a new trigger will not fire another dart. This is useful to prevent double shots when you accidentally hit the trigger twice in quick succession.
- Auto timing: (V2 only) The pusher will try to find the optimal timing itself, based on the accelerometer and solenoid current sensor. Manual timing can be faster, but it will only be faster if you change the timings based on the battery voltage. Automatic timing overcomes that hassle.
Minimal times for manual timing (these do not have an effect if auto timing is enabled):
- Push ms: Duration in ms the pusher is active (extended) for each dart. Too short values can lead to unreliable feeding (especially if the battery is close to empty). Too long values can heat up the solenoid unnecessarily. Increase this value when you use a 4S battery or any other less than 6S.
- Min. Retract ms: Duration in ms the pusher is inactive (retracted) after each dart. If set too short, the pusher may not have enough time to retract fully, leading to jams or missing a dart because the pusher is still extended or the mag is not fast enough. Longer values can be used to fire at a lower rate. Only relevant in Burst and Continuous mode.
