The Profitbase Gantt Chart visual offers premium features that require a license. This guide explains how to purchase, assign, and activate your license.

How to Purchase and Assign Licenses

1. Standard AppSource Licenses

To purchase standard individual or team licenses:

  • Purchase licenses directly through Microsoft AppSource here.
  • Learn how to assign these licenses within your organization using the official Microsoft Power BI visual licensing guide here.

[!NOTE] If you purchase licenses through Microsoft AppSource, your licenses are managed and verified automatically by Microsoft's visual licensing platform. You do not need a license key and do not need to perform any activation steps in the Format pane.

2. Enterprise Licenses

For larger organizations requiring custom options or an Enterprise License, please contact the support team directly at [email protected].

How to Activate Your License Key

[!IMPORTANT] The activation steps below are only required for organizations using custom Enterprise Licenses. If you purchased your license through AppSource, your license is activated automatically and you can ignore these steps.

Step 1: Select the Gantt visual

Click on the Gantt chart visual on your Power BI report canvas.

Step 2: Navigate to the Format pane

Open the Format pane on the right side of Power BI Desktop.

Step 3: Enter your License Key

Locate the License settings card and paste your license key into the License key text field.
