Instead of setting up dependencies in your dataset, you can define task connections interactively directly on the Gantt chart using the built-in Task Information workspace.

How to Add Dependencies Manually

Step 1: Open the Task Information menu

Double-click any taskbar directly on the timeline to open the interactive Task Information popup menu.

Step 2: Configure the dependency relationship

1. Click on the Dependency tab at the top of the menu.
2. Select the task you want to link from the predecessor dropdown menu.
3. Select the connection type (such as Finish-to-Start or Start-to-Start).
4. Save your configuration.

Step 3: View the connector line

Once saved, the visual will draw a dependency connector line on the timeline linking the predecessor task to the selected task.
