Group Columns - Profitbase/PowerBI-visuals-Gantt GitHub Wiki

The Group Columns feature in Edit Mode allows report authors to consolidate multiple grid columns into a single collapsible column group. This helps keep your task grid clean and readable by hiding less frequently used columns until a viewer decides to expand the group.

How to Create Column Groups

Step 1: Add a New Column Group

In Edit Mode, click the Group columns tab on the left and click the + button to create a new column grouping.

Step 2: Configure Group Properties

Set up your group identity and choose which columns to group together:

  1. Group Name: Give the group a name to easily identify it later.
  2. Default State: Choose whether the column group is expanded or collapsed by default.
  3. Columns to Group: Click on the column selector to choose which columns to include in the group. All columns currently mapped in your Additional Columns data bucket are available for selection.
